Dr. Hashim Al-Tawil, Professor and Deparment Chair of Art History at Henry Ford Community College will be discussing the rise of monotheism among the Semitic people of the Middle East with an emphasis on the beginnings of Arabic civilization. Thursday, April 3 at 7:00 pm "Raising a Positive Child" Riverview resident and renowned motivational speaker Kimberly Watt will detail the challenges of raising a child in a "negative" world and how to overcome those obstacles so that your child can grow into a "positive" person. Thursday, April 24 at 7:00 pm "A Tour of Detroit History and Architecture" Come and see Art History Professor, Michael Farrell(University of Windsor and the Art House of Detroit) give a spirited tour of Detroit Architecture and its impact on the city, then an now.
